Joey Lawrence Responds to Affair Rumors, Says Marriage was 'Beyond Saving'

Joey Lawrence and his ex-wife, Samantha Cope, announced their divorce in July 2022 after nearly three years of marriage.

Lawrence has now spoken out about the affair rumors that plagued their marriage, saying that the marriage was "beyond saving."

Lawrence and Cope met in 2018 and married in May 2022. They welcomed their first child, a daughter, in February 2022.

The couple's divorce was announced in July 2022, with Cope citing "irreconcilable differences" as the reason for the split.

In a recent interview, Lawrence opened up about the affair rumors that dogged the couple's marriage.

"There were rumors going around that I was having an affair," Lawrence said. "Those rumors were not true."

Lawrence said that he and Cope tried to work through their issues, but ultimately the marriage was beyond saving.

"We tried to work through it," Lawrence said. "But at the end of the day, the marriage was beyond saving."

Lawrence said that he is now focused on co-parenting their daughter.

"My priority now is my daughter," Lawrence said. "I want to be the best dad I can be for her."
